1937 international fire truck s10/27/2023 ![]() Millars Ltd operated from the late 1930s to the late 1940s. Bruce Millar of Invercargill purchased it off Geoff Noyes in October 1993 and rebuilt it as a bread van, a replica of the vans his family A. It was purchased some years later (possibly in the early 80s) by Geoff Noyes of Wanganui, and he started to restore it as a milk truck with an open "C" cab. ![]() In September 1964 it was purchased by Waverley Motors from north of Wanganui, and used as their tow truck. This C1 International was first registered on the 4th of December 1936 to Wilson Bros (James Dixon & Samual Bland) from Waitotara, in June 1954 ownership changed to Samual Bland and in July 1955 to George Henry Smith. Their styling rivaled the cars of the time. 74,585 were built, and they sold for US$415 in 1936. ![]() ![]() Bill Richardson Transport World Name/Title
